Mick Pilsworth

After working in programme development and co-productions at LWT and TVS, in 1988 Mick joined the independent film and TV sector as CEO of film and TV group Millaney Grant Mallet Mulcahy (MGMM).
In 1990 he joined Alomo Productions as Managing Director and was subsequently appointed MD of Alomo’s parent company, SelecTV. SelecTV’s hit TV shows include Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman and Lovejoy.
In 1993 he joined the Chrysalis Group PLC and established Chrysalis TV Group, which he and Chairman Chris Wright built into a £100m turnover film and TV production group. Its greatest hit series was Midsomer Murders.
Chrysalis TV Group was sold for £50m in 2001 to Bridgepoint Capital. It was renamed All3Media and is now the UK’s biggest TV production group.
